Your moral obligation as a leader

I once got some surprising feedback from an employee’s spouse.

It wasn’t particularly negative or positive. Just surprising.

And in that moment my paradigm as a leader changed.

I found myself regularly thinking, “When my employees come home, what will they tell their families about their day?”

AND

“How can I make sure they tell them they love their job?”

Some of my proudest moments as a “boss” have been when a spouse bragged on the company or told me how happy the work makes them.
