A simple trick to be more grateful at work

A study shows that people are less likely to feel or express gratitude at work than anyplace else. 👎

It’s time to be more grateful at work. Here’s a simple challenge you can try today:

  • Grab a piece of paper and a writing utensil. Don’t be tempted to use your phone. The traditional method is best.

  • Set a timer for 5 minutes.

  • Spend the time listing everything that you’re grateful for at work. Ask yourself:

💥 Who are some people that make my job easier?

💥 Who are some people that make my job more satisfying?

💥 What makes me excited to come to work?

  • Once you’ve completed your 5 minutes, take a moment to consider the list. No matter what your situation, there is always plenty to appreciate.

  • If you’re so inclined, crack a smile. Today is a great day to be at work!
